Data handling summary
How the app works
- The user enters the QUICKCONTO server IP address or URL in the app.
- The app connects to that specific server through the available network.
- Orders, menu information, customer records and staff messages are exchanged only as needed for requested functions.
- The configured server stores and manages the data under the restaurant’s control.
Data collection and sharing
Collected by the developer
The app does not automatically transmit restaurant operational data to the developer.
Shared with third parties
The app does not sell operational data or automatically share it with third parties. Any third-party service deliberately enabled by the restaurant must be assessed separately.
Local processing
Orders, customers, menus and logs are processed by the configured QUICKCONTO server.
Diagnostic data
Connection and log information may be kept locally on the server for troubleshooting.
Security practices
- Access is limited to authorised users and configured servers.
- Communication should use secure network settings and encryption where supported.
- The restaurant must protect Wi-Fi, firewall rules, credentials, Windows server and backups.
- Users should keep both the app and server software updated.
Modify or delete user data
Authorised users can change or remove customer records on the QUICKCONTO server using Clients → Modify Customer. Local logs may be deleted from the server installation. QUICKCONTO does not create a separate manufacturer-hosted cloud account for normal local-server use.
